Job summary

DriveTime Transports is seeking CDL-A drivers for home weekly routes with weekend home time in the Detroit metro area. This position offers weekly pay, no-touch freight, weekend home time, and a $15 stop pay per stop along the route.

Minimum 6 months CDL-A experience required and verifiable; recent truck school grads welcome. Candidates must meet our clean driving standards, with no major incidents in the past years; multiple past employers and unemployment gaps have specific limits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months CDL-A tractor trailer experience and verifiable.
• Trainees from truck driving schools accepted.
• No more than 30 days unemployment in the last 12 months.
• No more than 3 jobs in the past 12 months.
• No more than 2 MVs in the last 2 years. No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months.
• No DUI/DWI within the past 10 years if offense occurred while holding CDL-A; no DUI/DWI within the last 5 years if before CDL-A.
• No SAP drivers.

• WEEKEND WORK IS OPTIONAL
• MUST LIVE WITHIN 100 MILES OF DETROIT
• WEEKLY AVG: $1300-1500+ (CPM $.59-.64 -BASED ON EXPERIENCE PLUS $15 STOP PAY)
• ADDITIONALLY, THERE IS A $.04 PERFORMANCE BONUS - PAID MONTHLY
• Stay close to home!
• BOTH DAY AND NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE
• NO TOUCH FREIGHT!
• ***ACCIDENT REPORTS REQUIRED ON ALL ACCIDENTS IN THE LAST 5 YEARS***
• PLEASE READ TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY
• MINIMUM 6 MONTHS CDL-A TRACTOR TRAILER EXPERIENCE - MUST BE VERIFIABLE
• TRAINEES THAT ARE RECENT TRUCK SCHOOL GRADUATES ARE ACCEPTED
• NO MORE THAN 30 DAYS UNEMPLOYMENT - NO EXCEPTIONS
• NO MORE THAN 3 JOBS IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS
• No more than 2 MV's in the last 2 years. No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months.
• No more than 1 on-road or DOT preventable loss in the last 2 years. No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years
• No DUI/DWI within the past 10 years if the offense occurred while they held a CDL-A or Commercial Learners Permit. No DUI/DWI within the last 5 years if the offense occurred prior to getting a CDL-A
