Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Pratt, Kansas is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations and staff. You will train Crew and management, oversee daily drive-in service, and ensure adherence to policies while maintaining great guest experiences.

This role requires scheduling, inventory control, and payroll record maintenance. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in restaurant management, strong leadership, and knowledge of labor laws with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies preferred.
• Minimum of two years in restaurant management (QSR preferred).
• Ability to work a minimum 5 days per week with irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach Crew/Team members and management staff.
• Direct drive-in restaurant operations to meet service standards.
• Adhere to policies and labor practices; monitor compliance.
• Open and close the restaurant; manage scheduling and staffing.
• Control inventory; place orders within cost parameters.
• Maintain payroll records and other employee records.
• Maintain customer service focus and resolve guest requests promptly.
• Recruit and hire staff to achieve proper staffing levels.
• Prepare operational reports and develop action plans for trends.
• Develop and implement marketing plans.
