Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a General Manager to lead a drive-in team, ensure safe and efficient food service, and provide a superior guest experience. You will recruit, train, and supervise crew and management staff while overseeing daily operations and financial performance.

The role requires scheduling, staff development, compliance with labor and sanitation laws, and implementing marketing plans. A high school diploma is required with at least two years of management experience in a restaurant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies in business/restaurant management preferred.
• Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred); experience supervising shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches crew/team members, carhops and skating carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet operational standards in all food service areas.
• Maintains compliance with employee handbook, policies, and practices.
• Performs opening/closing duties and creates staff schedules.
• Monitors inventory and places orders within cost controls.
• Maintains employee and payroll records; reports guest feedback to supervisors.
