Join Our Team – Drive-In Diesel Technician

Dakota Diesel Service is a well-established, close-knit team of diesel professionals dedicated to excellence in service and repair. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Drive-In Diesel Technician to join our growing team.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive hourly wage: $25–$32/hour, based on experience

  • No weekend work required

Position Overview

This role involves a variety of diagnostic and repair tasks, including:

  • Diagnosing and repairing automotive diesel engines

  • Servicing and troubleshooting diesel emission systems

  • Engine repairs for industrial and agricultural equipment

  • Rebuilding fuel system components

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems

Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on shop experience

  • Prior experience with heavy-duty, automotive diesel, or agricultural equipment repair

  • Degree or certification in Automotive or Diesel Technology

  • Possess a complete set of basic tools (standard and metric)

  • Strong work ethic and a willingness to continue learning

  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Proficient in engine diagnostics, electrical systems, fuel systems, and general engine repairs

  • Valid driver’s license
