Job summary

Fuss & O’Neill is seeking a Drinking Water Project Manager to lead complex water infrastructure projects that ensure safe, reliable, and sustainable drinking water systems.

This hybrid role requires expertise in potable water systems, PFAS treatment, and distribution hydraulics, with responsibilities spanning planning, design, permitting, construction, and closeout. You will mentor staff and engage with clients and regulators to deliver technical excellence and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in civil/environmental eng or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 8+ years in drinking water planning, design, and infra projects.
• Strong hydraulics modeling with WaterGEMS/InfoWater/EPANET.
• Experience with PFAS treatment and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of drinking water projects from planning through closeout.
• Oversee design for water storage, distribution, and treatment facilities.
• Evaluate PFAS treatment options (GAC, ion exchange, membranes).
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and master planning.
• Prepare technical reports, plans, and client deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with regulators and clients.
