Doyon, Limited seeks to build a talent pool for upcoming fall/winter projects. The employee will perform preventive maintenance and minor repair work on drilling rig equipment on site in Alaska.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, adherence to HSE policies, proper permit use, and clear communication with crew. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and proactive problem solving in a remote, challenging environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three+ years experience in this position or similar drilling roles.
• Certificate of Completion in Well Control (Driller, Surface Stack only).
• First aid/CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily inspection per SPCC plan.
• Know and follow DDI’s HSE policy.
• Understand regulatory requirements for oil and gas drilling operations.
• Maintain EMS operation and responsibilities.
• Use activity permits and MSDS sheets correctly.
• Participate in safety meetings and hazard recognition activities.
• Record equipment data on daily reports.
• Maintain inventories of spare parts, oil and grease.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on rig equipment.
• Communicate with relief, Driller, Mechanic and Toolpusher.
• Participate in emergency drills.
• Inspect fluid handling components for integrity and operation.
• Follow DDI and customer procedures.
• Perform SAA/RAA maintenance and documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
