Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an experienced Drilling Operator to join our field teams. The role involves operating foundation drilling rigs, including large‑diameter equipment, across projects nationwide from Texas-based bases.

You will travel to client sites across the United States, maintaining rig safety and performance while supporting diverse foundation projects and per‑diem travel provisions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on foundation drilling experience and ability to operate drill rigs independently.
• Experience with large‑diameter drilling equipment and safety standards.
• CDL may be beneficial for travel to sites nationwide.
• Openness to field-based work and long-distance travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate foundation drilling rigs on various project sites across the United States.
• Travel nationwide to support projects in multiple states.
• Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures on site.
• Coordinate with project teams to meet schedule and quality targets.

Metric Geo are currently partnered with a growing specialist foundation contractor delivering drilling and helical pile installation services across the United States.

Our client is expanding its operations and is looking to strengthen its field teams with experienced drilling operators. The business works across a range of foundation projects, with crews travelling nationwide to support projects in Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, North Dakota, Wyoming and other locations.

We are actively looking to hire a Drilling Operator with hands‑on experience operating foundation drilling rigs, ideally including large‑diameter drilling equipment such as Soilmec SR125s or similar.

Experience Required:

Proven hands‑on foundation drilling experience, with the ability to operate drill rigs independently. Experience with large‑diameter drilling equipment and A CDL is beneficial.
