Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH Company, is seeking a general labor role in Mississippi. The job involves maintaining drills and augers, performing sweeping, painting, and mechanical assistance, and communicating production issues to supervision.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, with 1 year related experience preferred, and be able to work various shifts, with regular travel and possible overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• One (1) year related experience preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, swings).

Responsibilities

• Maintain drill and augers in good working condition.
• Shovel, sweep, steam clean, paint, tire work, and provide mechanical assistance.
• Communicate production issues to supervisor or lead person.
• Perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
• Regular travel away from home during the week; nights/weekends when necessary.
• Report to work at designated start times and work overtime when required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
