Job summary

CRH APAC Mississippi, Inc. seeks an operator to run automated asphalt plant control systems and assist with equipment maintenance. The role requires willingness to travel, work nights/weekends, and adapt to varied climate conditions. Prior experience preferred; high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; basic reading and writing ability.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers in common units.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Ability to interpret simple instructions and memos.
• Willingness to work days, nights, and swing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated asphalt plant control systems.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
• Climb stairs to top of plant as needed.
• Travel and work away from home when required.
• Work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Work in various climate conditions; hot and cold.
• Report to work at designated start time.
• Work overtime when required.
