Job summary

Murfin Drilling Company, Inc. is seeking a dependable Floor Hand to join our drilling crew. This physically demanding position requires travel, overtime, and 12-hour shifts, with a safety-focused mindset and hands-on work on the rig.

You will assist with rig-up and rig-down, handle drill pipe and equipment, perform basic maintenance, and keep work areas clean and safe while following all safety procedures and daily safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Oilfield/drilling experience preferred.
• Kelly Drive Rig experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willing to travel and work overtime.
• Valid driver's license preferred; CDL a plus.
• Must pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rig-up, rig-down, and drilling operations.
• Handle drill pipe and rig equipment.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in daily safety meetings.
