Job summary

Summit Design and Engineering Services, Inc. in Raleigh, NC, is hiring a Driller Helper to support our drilling team on private sector projects. You will assist with drilling processes, site setup, and logs, with safety as a priority.

We offer four weeks of PTO, student loan/tuition reimbursement, volunteer time, professional development support, wellness stipends, and flexible work options. Valid driver's license; CDL Class A preferred; ability to travel and stay overnight as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license; CDL Class A a plus.
• Willingness to travel and overnight stay.
• Experience with heavy lifting.
• Experience maintaining heavy equipment.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all drilling processes.
• Loads/unloads equipment and sets up site.
• Follows safety precautions.
• Performs equipment maintenance and repair.
• Completes Driller’s Logs on Private Sector Projects.
• Drives Drilling Support Truck when needed.
• Completes daily mileage logs.
