Job summary

Summit Design and Engineering Services, Inc. in North Carolina seeks a Driller Helper to support the drilling team on private sector projects. You will assist with drilling processes, set up sites, and help maintain equipment while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license (CDL Class A a plus), and the ability to travel and stay overnight as required. The role includes log keeping and occasional truck driving duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CDL Class A license is a plus.
• Ability to travel to worksites and stay overnight as needed.
• Experience performing heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all drilling processes on projects.
• Loads/unloads equipment and sets up site.
• Follows all safety precautions.
• Performs equipment maintenance and repair.
• Completes Driller’s Logs on Private Sector Projects.
• Drives Drilling Support Truck when needed.
• Completes daily mileage logs.
