Job summary

Northern Lights Drilling LLC is seeking a Drilling Assistant/Helper to support a drilling crew in outdoor environments. You will work with an experienced driller to regulate pumps, service equipment, and perform routine maintenance to keep operations moving smoothly.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work in varied weather. CDL would be a plus, and outdoor work for extended periods is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• CDL License would be a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Driller’s Assistant involves working outdoors for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with an experienced driller to regulate, control and service pumps and drilling equipment.
• Undertake routine maintenance and repairs under the supervision of an experienced driller.
• Assemble and position machines, casing pipes, and other equipment using hand tools.
• Drive or guide truck-mounted equipment into position, level and stabilize rigs, and extend derricks.
• Load drill rods onto drill carousel for Driller’s to access during the drilling process.
