Job summary

HRmango seeks a Drillers Assistant to support drilling crews in demanding field conditions across remote locations. This role involves long shifts, heavy lifting, and travel with overtime potential.

Responsibilities include hauling supplies, assisting the driller, keeping sample bags organized numerically, and helping train new assistants while maintaining safety and equipment readiness. Starting pay is $16 per hour with accommodations for travel.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred but not required.
• Be able to lift 100 pounds frequently.
• Pass a background check.
• Have a good driving record and valid driver's license.
• Be willing to be gone weeks at a time and work in remote locations.
• Be able and willing to work 10-12 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Provide semi-skilled labor intensive assistance for drilling crews.
• Hauling supplies to and from the drill site.
• Assisting the driller in the drilling processes.
• Keep sample bags in numeric order according to designated footages.
• Train new driller assistants in a safe environment.
• Ensure site equipment and tools are maintained and ready for use.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience preferred but not required

• Be willing to be gone weeks at a time and work in remote locations
• Be able and willing to work 10-12 hours a day

Additional Qualifications/skills:

Provide semi-skilled labor intensive assistance for drilling crews. This could include the operation of various types of equipment/machinery, including:

• Hauling supplies to and from the drill site
• Assisting the driller in the drilling processes

The candidate will also be responsible for general condition and obtaining optimum life out of all site equipment and tools. You must be responsible for keeping sample bags in numeric order according to designated footages. Also at times you may be responsible for the training of new driller assistants in a safe environment.
