Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc in Douglasville, GA is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator/Driller Trainee. You’ll operate heavy equipment, learn drilling patterns, and support blasting operations under supervision. Travel and overtime may be required as you train.

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to heavy construction equipment is helpful.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Background screening for ATF is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance for safe operation of equipment.
• Learn drill patterns and assist with blasting operations.
• Coordinate supplies with the Blaster/Foreman and maintain paperwork.
• Work safely in varying weather and travel when required.
• Carry tools and maintain organization on site.
• Participate in safety and job meetings.
