Summit Drilling, LLC is seeking a Driller Assistant to support daily drilling operations, assist in equipment maintenance, and ensure safety and efficiency on site in Milton, FL. You will report to the Driller and help with site preparation, data collection, and client communication.

The role emphasizes safety-first work practices, teamwork, and ongoing training. A valid driver’s license and physical fitness are required; CDL is a plus, with opportunities for growth and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance: Follow safety programs, participate in briefings and drills, use PPE properly.
• Equipment Preparation and Maintenance: Perform daily checks, report malfunctions, manage tool inventory.
• Operational Support: Assist site setup, material handling, and waste management; support drilling process and data collection.
• Client Satisfaction and Communication: Interact professionally with clients and update on progress; address questions promptly.
• Data Collection and Reporting: Help in accurate data collection and maintain logs of drilling activities.
• Team Collaboration and Development: Work with the drilling team and participate in training.
• Quality Control and Environmental Protection: Monitor operations for quality and follow environmental policies.
• Emergency Response: Follow emergency protocols and act quickly when needed.
• Professional Development: Participate in trainings and pursue relevant certifications.
