Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• CDL preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude; experience with mechanical systems preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic systems preferred.
• Ability to work on both onshore and offshore projects for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Driller, other Driller Assistants, Soil Technicians and Project Engineers with daily drilling operations (onshore and offshore).
• Load/unload drilling equipment and operate behind the drill rig.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites and maintain attendance.
• Assist with mud handling, monitoring drilling fluids properties, and field maintenance.
