Our Client is seeking an experienced Driller with Dual Rotary expertise to support projects across Florida. You will operate large-diameter rigs to drill water wells, dewatering wells, and foundation piles in a challenging karst limestone environment.

This hands-on role requires strong mechanical skills, safety focus, and the ability to coordinate with project managers and on-site teams. Compensation is hourly with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Dual Rotary or large-diameter rotary rigs.
• Knowledge of Florida ground conditions and permitting for wells.
• Valid CDL preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Safety-conscious with ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Driller with expertise in Dual Rotary (DR) operations to join our client's team for projects across Florida. The role involves drilling large-diameter wells and casings for water supply, dewatering, and foundation applications in a high water-table, karst limestone environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Dual Rotary drilling rigs (e.g., Foremost DR series) safely and efficiently.
• Drill and install casings for water wells, dewatering wells, and foundation piles.
• Monitor drilling parameters and adjust methods to suit ground conditions (sand, gravel, limestone).
• Oversee drill crew activities and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards (OSHA, EPA, state water regulations).
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling equipment.
• Record drilling data, including depths, formations, and casing installation details.
• Coordinate with project managers, geologists, and engineers on-site.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a driller, ideally with Dual Rotary or large-diameter rotary rigs.
• Knowledge of Florida ground conditions, high water tables, and state permitting for wells.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Safety-conscious with a clean record; ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
