Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an underground drilling operator to safely operate drilling equipment and support mining production in underground quarry environments. You will perform drill tasks following mine plans, production targets, and safety requirements, while conducting pre-operational inspections and basic equipment maintenance.

Safely operate drilling equipment to support underground quarry production activities.
Perform drilling operations according to mine plans, production targets, and safety requirements.
Conduct pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance of drilling equipment.
Identify and communicate equipment, ground, or safety concerns to supervisors and team members.
Collaborate with quarry personnel to support efficient and productive underground operations.
Demonstrated ability to safely operate drilling or heavy equipment in an industrial, mining, quarrying, construction, or similar environment.
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and compliance with operating procedures.
Mechanical aptitude with the capability to inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment.
Ability to read and follow mine plans, work instructions, and safety requirements.
Dependable work ethic with the ability to adapt to changing operational needs and priorities.
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
$28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground differential.
