Job summary
Conti LLC's Road & Infrastructure Division in Miami, FL seeks an experienced Drilled Shafts Superintendent to lead drilled shaft and foundation operations on transportation projects across Florida. The role requires a strong FDOT project background, deep foundation construction expertise, and proven field leadership.
The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, maintain production and quality standards, coordinate resources, and ensure safety, efficiency, and FDOT specification
Qualifications
- Minimum experience supervising work on FDOT transportation projects.
- Strong knowledge of FDOT miscellaneous foundation construction.
- Thorough understanding of FDOT Specification Section 346 (Portland Cement Concrete).
- Thorough understanding of FDOT Specification Section 455 (Miscellaneous Structures).
- Demonstrated experience leading construction crews and managing daily field operations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout Florida as project assignments require.
Responsibilities
- Lead drilled shaft and miscellaneous foundation operations on Florida projects.
- Oversee daily field operations, production and quality.
- Coordinate project resources, schedules, and budgets.
- Review contract docs, plans and specs for constructability and accuracy.
- Travel to various project locations across Florida as needed.
