Columbia-Industries is seeking a Drill Press/Brake Operator to independently operate plate processing equipment in the Plate Shop. You will cut, form, drill, and prepare metal components per drawings and specs.
You will read blueprints, set up Brake Press operations, select tooling, and inspect finished parts using precision equipment, ensuring quality and throughput in a shop environment.
The Drill Press/Brake Operator is responsible for independently operating and maintaining plate processing equipment within the Plate Shop. This role supports production by cutting, forming, drilling, and preparing metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications.
2 years of experience preferred

High School Diploma preferred, 2 years of experience in shop environment preferred.
Training:
Computer Skills: Good understanding of computer operations
Reasoning Ability: Ability to read blueprints and understand parts
Regularly: Standing, lifting, operating equipment.
