Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc is seeking an experienced Drill Operator for central to eastern North Carolina with possible travel to western NC or out of state. You will safely perform drilling using DTH (or top hammer) drills, follow the job program, and maintain equipment and drill reports while working with a small, professional team.

The role requires 5+ years hydraulic drilling experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass physical, drug, and background screenings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation.
• At least 1 year experience in construction.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass ATF background screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform all drilling activity per job program to meet production targets.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and perform daily equipment maintenance.
• Understand drill patterns and execute layouts as directed by the Foreman.
• Maintain inventory of drill supplies and communicate issues to supervisor.
