Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc is seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator with drilling experience to join our on-site team. You will safely operate hydraulic equipment and Epiroc top hammer drills, adhere to safety policies, and assist with drill layouts and reporting.

Travel stipends are provided and opportunities for advancement exist within our majority employee-owned company. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, reliable transportation, and the ability to work with minimal

Qualifications

5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience.
Experience with Epiroc top hammer drills or similar preferred.
Must have a valid Driver's License and transportation.
One year experience in the construction industry is preferred.
Mechanical aptitude based on experience around equipment, motors, hydraulic and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Safely perform drilling activity per the job program to achieve production targets.
Follow safety policies and perform daily maintenance on equipment including Epiroc drills.
Maximize usage of drill supplies and inventory accessories.
Complete drill reports, hole sheets and timecards accurately.
