Job description

Utilities One is seeking a qualified Drill Operator in the PNW market. This role offers an opportunity to utilize your experience in Directional Boring and maintenance within a fast-paced, challenging environment at one of the fastest-growing construction companies in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform directional drilling/boring operations, including installing underground facilities, potholing, and setting peds.
  2. Examine drilling sites, collaborate with management to develop operational plans, and ensure safety standards are followed by drilling personnel.
  3. Maintain heavy construction equipment and associated machinery, keeping them clean and operational.
  4. Perform additional duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:

  1. At least 3 years of experience in Drilling/Boring.
  2. Valid Class A CDL.
  3. Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment, especially drilling and boring machines.
  4. Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering plans and specifications.
  5. Physical capability to sit, stand, bend, walk, and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
  6. Willingness to work up to 5 days per week in all weather conditions and travel as required.
