Job summary

TTL, Inc. in Hoover, AL is seeking a Drill Helper to support drilling operations on-site. You will assist the driller with field tasks, help with pipe handling, and contribute to safe, efficient work across our equipment fleet.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to travel frequently (>50%), and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather. CDL is required or pursued; Class A is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• DOT physical to obtain a CDL (required), Class A CDL (preferred)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Willing to travel and stay out of town frequently (>50% travel)
• Must be able to regularly lift 50-100 pounds
• Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driller with field activities, including lifting and assembling/disassembling drilling pipe and augers, operating small pumps and air compressors, shoveling material, and assisting with sample retrieval.
• Drive pickup trucks with or without towing trailers or equipment
• Assist the driller and drilling manager with maintenance and repairs to drilling rigs
• Clean drill rigs, trucks, and equipment
• Participate in safety meetings
