Job summary

Direct Communications in Louisiana is seeking a Construction Crew Foreman to lead our field team in installing and maintaining fiber optic networks across rural communities. This role combines hands-on leadership with practical project management on outdoor worksites.

You will supervise daily operations, ensure safety, review prints and maps, and coordinate with crews to meet quality standards. The ideal candidate has at least two years of crew leadership in utility construction, with drilling

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of leading a crew in utility construction; drilling rig experience is required.
  • Licensing: A valid driver's license is required; a CDL is highly preferred.
  • Stamina & Grit: Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs routinely.
  • Technical Savvy: Ability to follow prints and maps, with a basic competency in computer-based environments.
  • Commitment: Willingness to travel throughout our service footprint and a steadfast dedication to safety protocols.

What We Are Looking For

We need a results-driven leader who is eager to work hard and possesses the following:

Salary:

$23 - $26 per hour

In-person, based out of the Livonia and Maringouin area.
