Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics in Bristol, RI seeks a Drier Maintenance & Materials Handler (Injection Molding) to move raw and finished materials, keep dryers/hoppers clean, and assist in machine setup and operation. You’ll follow ISO/OSHA guidelines and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Requirements include 2+ years in an injection molding environment, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to lift 40 lb, and basic math. Benefits include medical, life, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools.
• Working knowledge of standard OSHA regulations.
• Physical ability to move molds and equipment, lift 40 pounds, and stand long periods.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years in an injection molding environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide raw material for each injection molding machine and record usage.
• Keep materials and equipment clean and free of contamination.
• Ensure hoppers, dryers and handling equipment are available and operational.
• Maintain hoppers and dryers (filters, heaters, etc.).
• Read work orders to determine material type and quantity.
• Perform incoming material inspections and coordinate with IMP Engineers.
• Return material to stockroom and record in Visual.
• Assist in set-up and maintenance of machines.
• Material handling and set-up of Preform machines.
• Operate and run an injection molding machine as required.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Support Maintenance Department as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
