Job summary

Bodycote in Hebron, Kentucky seeks a Utility Operator – Dri-Film Lube to perform essential coating processes under the Production Supervisor. You will handle dri-film lubrication, inspect parts, and record process data to meet customer specifications.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, experience with hand tools and in manufacturing, and a disciplined approach to safety and quality. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to ITAR rules for U.S. personnel.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance requires US citizenship or permanent residency.
• Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using hand tools for manual processes.
• Production experience preferred.
• Demonstrated organization and documentation skills.
• Previous experience spraying in an industrial painting or coating operation.

Responsibilities

• Review job folder to verify area of part to be processed with dri-film lubrication process.
• Perform visual inspection of parts for defects.
• Perform appropriate dri-film lubrication process per work instructions and job folder.
• Record and sign off on all applicable data defined in the job folder.
• Report all problems, inaccuracies in job folder, damaged parts and/or post processing materials to Lead or Supervisor.
• Follow in-process inspection procedures as needed to verify current operation meets customer and job folder requirements.
• Practice attention to detail with a focus on zero rework.
• Assist supervisor in developing processes that will improve operations.
• Observe all Environment, Health and Safety Policy requirements.
• Keep work area neat and orderly; wear PPE; dispose of waste per safety standards.
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
• This position is responsible for care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
• Must be able to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, and follow rules and procedures.
