Job summary

Curtin Maritime is seeking Experienced Dredge Tugboat Captains to join multiple openings across the United States. Roles involve leading dredging operations, overseeing crew, and maintaining Curtin standards on vessels. Travel is fully paid and coordinated by the company.

Captain I–III levels offer daily rates with performance bonuses; strong leadership, safety, and vessel-management skills are essential. Extensive licensing and oceans/endorsements are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in dredging operations on dredge tugboats.
• Captain I, II, III levels with leadership responsibilities.
• Must meet required licenses as listed.

Responsibilities

• Directly work with the Port Captain to uphold Curtin standards.
• Lead and mentor crew; conduct performance evaluations.
• Manage voyage planning, rigging, and towing operations.
• Ensure safety, recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance.
