Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates in Amite, LA is seeking a Dredge Operator to operate dredge and mobile equipment for safe, efficient aggregate production and plant operations.

You will promote safety, perform pre-shift inspections, and coordinate with other plant workers. Requires at least 1 year of experience and the ability to operate multiple machines. This on-site role offers hands-on work and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in dredging or heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to operate at least 2 pieces of mobile equipment.
• Promotes safety and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends and nights when necessary.
• Stand, climb stairs, and work in varied outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate dredge and mobile equipment to support production and plant operations.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintain equipment performance.
• Communicate effectively with other plant workers and operators.
• Adhere to safety rules, procedures, and government regulations.
• May participate in safety committees or initiatives.
