Job summary

Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. is seeking experienced dredge operators to join our Florida construction team. The role requires operating and maintaining dredging equipment and supporting the day-to-day dredge operations with supervision.

Starting pay is $22 per hour, DOE, with benefits after 3 months. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, be able to work 10–12 hour days including some Saturdays, and pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year running a dredge.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work 10-12 hours a day and some Saturdays.
• Should have the ability to safely and effectively direct the production of day to day dredge operations with support from management.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Moves and assembles dredging equipment in the preparation for dredging operation.
• Operates and maintains the dredge and support equipment in a safe working manner at all times.
• Assist maintenance personnel with repairs and preventive maintenance.
