Job summary

C&M Dredging is seeking an experienced Conventional Dredge Operator for a potential long-term, full-time role. The position supports current and future assignments at various locations in the United States and requires travel.

You will mobilize, operate, and demobilize dredging equipment, coordinate with crew, and ensure safe, efficient execution of project tasks. The ideal candidate has dredge-operating experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug

Responsibilities

• Verify dredge cuts.
• Monitor depth gauges and other equipment to maintain the required excavation depth.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge and equipment-maintenance experience
• Experience handling dredge pipe, anchors, cables, winches, and depth-monitoring equipment
• Construction, marine, or heavy-equipment experience
• HyPack/DredgePack

Physical And Work Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Ability to perform physically demanding construction and general-labor duties for extended periods
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, push, and pull throughout the workday
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions
• Physical stamina to perform strenuous work for long periods
• Ability to work safely around water, heavy machinery, pipes, cables, and active construction equipment

Benefits

Compensation: Based on experience, $30.00 +
