Job summary

Encore Dredging Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to support dredging and construction projects in Mount Vernon, AL. The role involves operating Track Hoe, Dozer, Excavator, Backhoe, Marsh Buggy and other heavy equipment, with assignments across different dredges.

Candidates must have 3+ years of heavy equipment operating experience, dredging or construction background is a plus, strong safety and mechanical skills, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug and fitness

Qualifications

• Three or more years of heavy equipment operating experience (dozer and excavator experience required).
• Dredging or construction experience a plus.
• Excellent safety and mechanical skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position; pass pre-employment screening (drug test, fit test) and random drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate Track Hoe/Dozer/Excavator/Backhoe/Marsh Buggy or other heavy equipment as assigned.
• Conduct on-site preventive maintenance and safety inspections of equipment; report condition and needed repairs.
• Inspect and grease equipment daily; check fluids and overall function of machines.
• Assist in proper care of machines and relay damage reports to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE; work safely around machinery.
