Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Crane Operator with Dredge/Clamshell experience to operate lattice boom crawlers on dredge projects. You must be willing to travel between Baltimore and Norfolk and work 12-hour shifts with an extended schedule.

Responsibilities include reading load charts, rigging, signaling, and maintenance of crane equipment. NCCCO or CIC with LBC designation is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with lifting and setting objects using cranes.
• Ability to read load charts and determine safe loads.
• Familiarity with rigging, signaling, and crane controls.

Responsibilities

• Check fluids and level crane before operation.
• Operate crane within load chart parameters and follow signals.
• Use hoisting attachments as required and perform maintenance.
• Inspect crane for defects and report issues immediately.
• Work safely on dredge projects with extended shifts.
