Job summary

Dream Dance Steakhouse in Milwaukee is seeking a dedicated Busser for the second shift. You will help maintain a welcoming dining room, clear and reset tables, and assist teammates to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, fine-dining setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and can work irregular hours, including nights and weekends. You must be able to lift up to 60 pounds with assistance and wear PPE as required. Starting pay is $14.03 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3 months related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming dining environment by keeping tables clean and properly set.
• Clear debris and cleared tableware; reset tables for guests.
• Transport dirty dishes to the dish tank and maintain cleanliness.
• Greet guests, acknowledge them, and anticipate their needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked workstation.
• Be knowledgeable about venue, menu, and promotions to assist guests.
• Perform opening/closing duties as needed.

In the fast-paced, high-energy environment where great guest service is essential, how do we ensure all of our Dream Dance Steakhouse guests are happy with our service? As a Dream Dance SteakhouseBusser, you will have a genuine passion for guest service, top-notch organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team. While carrying out the job duties listed below, the Fine Dining Busser will contribute to our continued success by demonstrating unsurpassed guest service, a high level of integrity and ethical standards, and personal and professional dedication to our Mission, Vision, and Values.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

• *Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a Team environment.
• *Create a welcoming environment for our guests by ensuring the dining room is clean, free from trash and debris and tables are set up properly.
• *Clear discarded debris and used tableware from tables throughout service and clean tables after guests depart, and sweep floors to clear debris.
• *Take all dirty dishes including but not limited to plates, bowls, glassware, silverware, and trays to dish tank.
• *Greet the guests with a friendly expression of acknowledgement. Assess, anticipate, and attend to guest needs or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner. Refill guests' water glasses as needed.
• *Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and safe working environment.
• Maintain complete knowledge of the venue to include menu items, beverage selections, specials, promotions, events, and policies.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of casino and hotel in order to answer guest inquiries and provide directions.
• Work at other venues as assigned, based on business needs.
• Perform job duties in full compliance with the departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent and 3 months of related experience are preferred.

• The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, sit, and move freely throughout the property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member is required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 20 pounds on a regular basis and up to 60 pounds occasionally, with assistance. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free. The team member will be exposed to, handle, and work with foods that are commonly classified as allergens, including but not limited to peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, soy, dairy products, seafood, shellfish, and gluten.
