Living Spaces in La Mirada, CA is hiring a Transportation Operations Specialist to coordinate shipments per SOPs and DOT rules. You will dispatch drivers, hire 3rd party carriers, and manage chassis agreements while maintaining carrier data and expediting cargo as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of experience in drayage dispatch or supply chain.
• 2 years of drayage dispatch/planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments according to SOPs and DOT regulations.
• Dispatch drivers for pickup and deliveries.
• Assist with hiring 3rd party carriers for pickups and deliveries.
• Manage chassis agreements with providers and issue pre-alerts.
• Maintain carrier database with provider info, rates, and expiration dates.
• Provide status updates to operations and expediting as needed.
