Driggs Search International is partnering with a growing U.S. customs brokerage to hire a Drawback Analyst in Ogden, Utah.

The role focuses on analytical and backend work to prepare accurate, compliant drawback claims and to build robust data pools for recurring filings. The ideal candidate will excel at analyzing large datasets, reconciling and cleansing data, and supporting CBP filings, while collaborating closely with Program Managers.

Qualifications

  • Experience in duty drawback, customs brokerage, or trade compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large datasets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience reconciling, validating, cleaning, or matching data.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with recurring deadlines.

  • Analyze large import/export datasets to identify drawback opportunities.
  • Clean, organize, reconcile, match, and validate data from multiple sources.
  • Prepare data and documentation for drawback claims.
  • Build and maintain data pools for recurring claims.
  • Assist with filing drawback claims with CBP.
  • Audit records to identify missing or inaccurate information.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation.
  • Support program managers and client programs in filing cycles.
  • Research discrepancies and improve processes and reporting.

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a growing U.S. customs brokerage that specializes in duty drawback to hire a Drawback Analyst. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working deeply with data and wants to build a long-term career in a specialized and growing area of international trade. The Drawback Analyst will work closely with Program Managers and be responsible for the analytical and backend work required to prepare accurate, compliant duty drawback claims. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into large datasets, identifying discrepancies, solving problems, and making sure the details are right.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze large import and export datasets to identify and support duty drawback opportunities
  • Clean, organize, reconcile, match, and validate data from multiple sources
  • Prepare data and supporting documentation for duty drawback claims
  • Build and maintain accurate data pools used for recurring claims
  • Assist with preparation and filing of drawback claims with U.S. Customs and Border Protection
  • Audit import/export records and identify missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate information
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready documentation
  • Work closely with Program Managers to support client programs and recurring filing cycles
  • Research discrepancies and resolve data or documentation issuesHelp improve processes, reporting, accuracy, and efficiency
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in duty drawback, customs brokerage, trade compliance, import/export, international logistics, or another related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience reconciling, validating, cleaning, or matching data
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and recurring deadlines
  • Understanding of customs documentation and CBP requirements
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a team
Highly Preferred
  • DutyCalc experience
  • Experience preparing or filing drawback claims
  • Experience with CBP and ACE data
  • Power BI, SQL, or other data analytics experience
  • Experience working with complex import/export datasets
