Job summary

SCHOTT is seeking a Draw Operator - Fused for the 3rd shift to operate belt draw towers and manage multiple towers. You will follow process specs, perform routine inspections, and ensure quality in a fast-paced environment in the U.S. facility.

Your Contribution

• Under close supervision, sets up and operates various types of belt draw towers; simultaneously operates multiple draw towers.
• Performs visual and mechanical inspections to ensure that the product being produced conforms to process specifications; refers questionable product to more experienced operators.
• Performs routine machine/equipment maintenance and inspection.
• Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program.
• Able to meet utilization targets and standard times.
• Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer.
• Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers.
• Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures.

Hourly Pay Ranges: Level C ($20.00-$22.50); Level B ($23.00-$25.50); Level A ($26.00-$28.50)
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
