Job description

This is a part-time, non‑exempt, seasonal position responsible for operating the ice resurfacing machine at the Drake Ice Arena. Compensation is $18 per hour.

Essential Job Functions

• Operates the Zamboni and other hand‑operated equipment.
• Performs light maintenance and monitors equipment.
• Responsible for opening and closing Drake Arena.
• Responsible for maintaining a quality ice sheet for user groups at all times.
• Monitors behavior and safety on and off the ice sheet.
• Maintains the cleanliness of facilities at all times.
• Visible and attentive to guests within the facility for events and ice rentals.
• Follow established safety protocols.
• Assist with event and game operations.

• Ability to be courteous and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
