Lee County is seeking a Drainage Equipment Operator to join the Transportation team. You will operate Vac Con sewer/pipe cleaning equipment to keep culverts, storm drains, and drainage systems clear, support field crews, and help protect roads and waterways.

This hands-on, outdoor role requires a high school diploma or GED, Florida CDL with Air Brake Endorsement, ability to work in varying weather, and strict adherence to safety rules.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One (1) year of experience in field operations, drainage work, construction, or equipment operation.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Vac Con sewer/pipe cleaning machine to clean culverts, storm drains, catch basins, and piping systems using high-pressure water.
• Assist sidewalk and pipe crews with daily operations.
• Maintain safe and efficient operation of equipment and perform routine checks.
