Position Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) has an opening for a dynamic DrainageEngineer Intern in our growing Design Engineering Services Group. You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, which includes structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines, is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects.

This position is based in our Lone Tree, CO office.

Responsibilities
  • Develop presentation exhibits using AutoCAD
Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master'sdegree in Civil Engineering or a related degree with a focus on hydraulics or hydrology courses
  • GPA above 3.0 preferred
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Coursework in transportation, and AutoCAD software
  • Be willing to fully participate in job assignments at the job site, district office or department to which the intern is assigned

  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Base Compensation:$20.00/hr-$24.50/hr
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
