Job summary

Air Tech of Houston is seeking a self-motivated Drain Technician to join our plumbing team. You will diagnose and repair residential and small commercial drain systems, perform cleaning, and install fittings while delivering clear explanations to customers.

• 1–5 years plumbing and drain experience preferred.
• Plumbing degree, license, or apprenticeship required.
• Current plumbing certification as required by state.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, equipment and fixtures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose residential and small commercial drain systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot drain problems including blockages, leaks and pipe damage.
• Utilize tools to perform drain cleaning, unclogging and repair.
• Install, repair and maintain drain pipes, fittings and fixtures.
• Educate customers on best practices for their drain systems.
• Maintain detailed records of services and outcomes.
