Job summary

Frank Gay Services is seeking a skilled Drain Technician to join our residential plumbing team in the Tampa area. You will inspect drain lines with cameras, perform jetting tasks, and install, maintain, and repair drainage systems while delivering top‑notch customer service.

Ideal candidates have 3 years in drain tech roles, experience with jetters and cameras, and a strong work ethic. A motor vehicle/background check and drug screen are required, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• 3 years as a drain technician or plumbing helper for residential plumbing
• Experience using a jetter and camera
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new methods
• Must pass motor vehicle & background check and drug screen
• Superb customer service skills, honesty, dependability, and reliability

Responsibilities

• Work independently and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Handle customer queries, troubleshoot/resolving problems, respond to call-outs and prepare cost estimates.
• Inspect the drain line with a camera to identify drainage issues and install/maintain/repair drain systems.
• Inspect plumbing and drainage systems for safety, functionality, and water quality.

Compensation:

• $75,000 - $125,000+/yr
