Job summary

Sierra Air is seeking an experienced Drain Technician in Reno, NV to diagnose, repair, and restore home drainage systems. You’ll inspect, clear blockages with jetting tools, and provide expert service to homeowners while documenting work in ServiceTitan.

This role offers year-round work, a generous earnings potential, and a company vehicle. Ideal candidates have 3-5+ years of residential drain experience, strong diagnostics, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of residential drain service experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydro jetting and drain cleaning equipment.
• ServiceTitan experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable recommending solutions that truly benefit customers.
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.

What You'll Do

As a Drain Technician, you'll be the trusted expert our customers rely on to diagnose, repair, and restore their home's drainage systems.

Responsibilities Include

• Perform comprehensive drain and plumbing system inspections
• Clear drain blockages using cable machines, hydro-jetting equipment, and other specialized tools
• Diagnose drain and sewer system issues accurately

• Clearly explain findings and repair options to homeowners
• Deliver outstanding customer service on every call
• Document work performed using ServiceTitan

What We're Looking For

• 3-5+ years of residential drain service experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydro jetting and drain cleaning equipment
• ServiceTitan experience preferred
• Working knowledge of residential plumbing systems
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable recommending solutions that genuinely benefit customers

Physical Requirements

This position involves working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and snow. Candidates should be able to:

• Lift up to 75 pounds
• Work from ladders and rooftops
• Crawl and work in confined spaces
• Stand, kneel, bend, and squat for extended periods
