Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a skilled drain service technician to perform drain cleaning, jetting and camera work for commercial and residential calls in the Crofton, MD area. You will communicate effectively with customers, educate on repairs, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure service excellence.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 2+ years of commercial driving experience, and ability to pass DOT screenings. Company offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• At least 2 years of professional commercial driving experience (post-school).
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road exams.
• Must be able to operate in a drug‑free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective communication between customers and Wind River Environmental.
• Provide camera service for mainline stoppage.
• Educate customers on drain repair and replacement.
• Explain blockage causes and resolutions.
• Work with customer service and dispatch for overall success.
• Protect and maintain drain cleaning and camera equipment; keep truck inventoried.
• Participate in training, meetings, and safety discussions.
• Submit quotes and service paperwork to management.
• Respond to trouble/emergency calls promptly.
• Follow Wind River Environmental service protocols.
• Work overtime, including weekends and holidays, and on-call rotations as needed.
• Comply with FMCSA and DOT regulations as applicable.
• Wear PPE appropriate to the job.
