Job summary

Cis-International-LLC is seeking a Draftsperson to support updating, controlling, and organizing drawings for the fire suppression system. The role involves collaborating with project teams, contractors, and field verification activities in a regulated industrial setting.

Responsibilities include preparing AutoCAD drawings, maintaining logs and document control, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure accurate as-built information and compliant drawing packages.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a drafter or CAD technician.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software is required.
• Experience with regulated environments (pharmaceutical/biotech/manufacturing) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain drawings for fire suppression systems using field information and contractor input.
• Support field verification activities and coordinate with Project Manager and site stakeholders.
• Prepare, revise, and organize AutoCAD drawings, diagrams, layouts, markups, and related documentation.
• Maintain drawing logs, revision history, and document status trackers.
• Review contractor redlines and convert into updated drawings.
• Identify missing or outdated drawings and assist in resolution.
• Support drawing transmittals, reviews, and closeout packages.
• Participate in coordination meetings and provide status updates.

Summary:
The Draftspersons will support the update, control, and organization of drawings related to the fire suppression system. The resources should be comfortable working with project teams, contractors, redlines, as-built information, field verification, and drawing/document control in a regulated or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain drawings related to the fire suppression system based on field information, redlines, contractor input, and project direction.
• Support field verification activities and coordinate with the Project Manager, contractors, facilities, EHS, and site stakeholders as needed.
• Prepare, revise, and organize AutoCAD drawings, diagrams, layouts, markups, and related technical documentation.
• Maintain drawing logs, revision history, document status trackers, and organized electronic files.
• Review contractor-provided redlines and support conversion into controlled drawing updates.
• Assist with identification of missing, outdated, inconsistent, or incomplete drawings.
• Support project documentation, drawing transmittals, comments, review cycles, and closeout packages.
• Participate in coordination meetings as required and provide status updates on assigned drawing deliverables.
• Follow site documentation, safety, and access requirements while supporting field or drawing verification activities.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a drafter, CAD technician, delineante, document/drawing control support, or similar role.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software is required.
• Experience with infrastructure, utilities, fire protection, facilities, construction, or industrial drawings is strongly preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, manufacturing, or another regulated environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, diagrams, redlines, layouts, and technical markups.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-up, and documentation control discipline.
