Job summary

Ford Audio-Video (Ford AV) is seeking a skilled Draftsperson to support engineering by creating and updating CAD drawings, managing documentation, and ensuring CAD accuracy. You will update CAD files with red-line edits and produce high-quality drafting, including system diagrams, 3D renderings, and custom designs.

Ideal candidates have AutoCAD expertise, experience with 3D modeling, and the ability to interpret architectural and system drawings, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail

Qualifications

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our engineers by creating and updating technical drawings, managing documentation, and ensuring the accuracy of CAD files. If you have a keen eye for detail, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a passion for precision in engineering design, we'd love to hear from you! Update and maintain CAD files with red-line edits to ensure accuracy. Create high-quality drafting work, including system line diagrams, rigging structural drawings, 3D renderings, and custom designs. Develop plan views, rack layouts, and custom panels based on engineering requirements. Assemble, copy, and distribute drawing submittals to relevant stakeholders. Interpret architectural and system line drawings to support engineering needs. Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure designs align with technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling (Revit experience is a plus).
