Job summary

Northeast Auto Group in the United States is seeking a Drafting Lead to oversee our drafting team in creating technical plans and drawings for workshop staff, detailing installation and assembly for heavy truck bodies in daily production.

Reporting to the Operations and Manufacturing Systems Manager, you will drive accuracy, coordinate with engineers, and mentor junior draftsmen while advancing your skills in a busy, family-owned automotive group with strong manufacturing roots.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting is preferred.
• Strong technical drawing knowledge.
• Experience using CAD software.
• Good understanding of manufacturing operations and processes.
• High attention to detail.
• Experience leading a team is desired.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact between the drafting team and workshop staff.
• Collaborate with engineers.
• Create and modify CAD drawings.
