Job summary

Binswanger Glass is seeking a drafting-focused professional to assist the engineering department in setting up and managing the fabrication workflow. You will generate shop drawings, material take-offs, and cut sheets for fabrication, while reviewing drafter work to ensure accuracy.

Rhino experience is a plus, and familiarity with metal fabrication is highly valued. The role emphasizes hands-on drafting, interpretation of fabrication orders, and collaboration with a team that has 150 years in

Qualifications

• Proficient in drafting and shop drawings for fabrication projects.
• Ability to interpret fabrication orders, patterns, and layouts.
• Strong mathematical skills applied to metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering department needs and provide professional assistance.
• Directly set up and manage the fabrication aspect of engineering department workflow.
• Provide shop drawings, material take-offs, and cut sheets for fabrication.
• Review work by drafters in the department.
