Pauley Construction, LLC seeks a Drafter/Designer to map, draft, and design telecommunications networks in a office setting in Centennial, CO. You will generate accurate network maps, layouts, and construction prints to meet customer needs.

The role involves creating OSP designs, developing work prints, and coordinating with engineering and permitting bodies. Strong drafting skills and familiarity with telecom standards are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or at least three years of telecommunications experience.
• Experience with drafting and design in telecommunications environments.
• Familiarity with OSP (outside plant) design principles and drafting standards.

Responsabilités

• Assist with execution of projects and drafts to support long-term design strategy.
• Create new Outside Plant (OSP) network designs in various applications/software.
• Develop and issue work prints for OSP Telecom networks.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, and permitting agencies.
• Generate BOMs, labor quantities, and other work-pack documents.

What you’ll do

• You will assist with the execution of projects and plans supporting the organization's long-term drafting strategy
• Create new Outside Plant (OSP) network designs in various applications/software
• Develop and issue work prints for OSP Telecom networks
• Work with Engineering and Construction departments and coordinate with permitting agencies
• Create documentation and reporting to support the work package, ie: bill of materials, labor quantities, etc.
• Ensure facility designs follow company standards and comply with the requirements of local, state and federal regulations, which may include Rural Utilities Service (RUS)
• You will identify and course correct project issues and risks, participate in response plans to resolve
• Provide any documentation required for the cost-effective placement of communication facilities
• Meet project deadlines and successfully complete tasks under tight timelines
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or at least three years of telecommunications.
• Must possess, or obtain upon employment, a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
• Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed.
• May be required to work after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed.
• Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.

Additional qualifications

• You will have training in the field
• You will have good interpersonal skills
• You will have solid experience with the principles and practices of fiber specific projects, network deployments and related fields
• You may have 1 or more years of progressive experience in drafting - You May have proficiency in Auto CAD
• You may have advanced training in the field.

Physical & Safety Requirements and the Working Environment:

• Duties outlined in this position will require the employee to stand, crouch, sit, bend, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel as well as reaching with hands and arms to spaces both high and low.
• The noise level in the work environment for this position is moderate.
• Employees performing these job functions are required to lift or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds in a shift with assistance.

Pay Range: The Drafter/Designer hourly wage range is $20.00 - $25.00 depending on experience.
